General Criteria We look for In All Potential Team Members
1.
Optimistic, kind, warm and thoughtful. We don't play host to pity parties or toxic energy.
2. Curiosity in all things that has to do with hospitality, food and drink. Do you like to learn for the sake of learning?
3. Work ethic or inclination to do the best job possible in whatever it may be. Polishing a wine glass or a chopping carrots for mirepoix.
4. Care for others and being in touch with how what you do and say makes them feel. Do you tear others down to make yourself appear bigger? M&T is not for you.
5. Self-awareness with what your strengths and weaknesses are. You know what motivates you and can discipline yourself or hold yourself accountable for doing the right thing with the highest integrity possible.
Simply put: We look for good people first and then talent and experience after that. We have no need for culinary mercenaries or greedy servers.
