Ambassadors,
Hope everyone is well and the pollen is not wreaking too much havoc on you.
Shonda Riley “Shindig” is moving to Austin, TX.
So this is one of those classic happy for her sad for us scenarios. Shonda has been an integral part of our family for almost five years. She has been lead host, party planner, catering captain, mother hen (shared with Bella) and someone who has just simply cared deeply about M&T, our staff and our guests. She is going to be greatly missed and will always have a place with us if and hopefully when she returns. Thank you so much for everything Shonda! We love you and are proud of you! Her last shift at the door will be this Friday and we are going to be a raising a glass to her Sunday around 9pm. If you can stop by for either, I know there are so many of you she would love to hug and say goodbye to.

New Early Spring Dinner Menu – The dinner menu is a collaborative effort between Dameren, Angus, Eulaliah and Muss.  They are now changing the menu every two months to flow with the seasons and keep it interesting for everyone, while also giving you enough time to try a few of the new items.
In a recent AJC.com poll, the Humpty Dumpty, one of the new small plates, just won Best Appetizer in Atlanta .   Give it a try.

Valet Now an Option- It started about three weeks ago. We felt we had to provide the valet option as the One Ivy Walk parking lot is just not big enough to accommodate our businesses, even with us and South City Kitchen requiring our staff to park across the street at the bank every night. We are partnered with SCK to pay for this so that it is complimentary for all patrons of One Ivy Walk and we are working closely with the valet team to ensure they are not blocking more spots than needed. We want our guests who prefer to self park to be able to do so and we also want those who want to get in during our busy hours to have this convenient option.

Fantastic Staplehouse News
You may have already heard but if not I am thrilled to inform you that Staplehouse was announced two weeks ago as one of the six finalists for Best New Restaurant in America by the James Beard Foundation.
Award winner will be announced on 5/2 in Chicago.
On that same day last week, Atlanta Magazine handed out their first 4 star review since 2010 to SH.
We also learned recently that the article Entrepreneur Magazine has been working on featuring SH will be a cover story.
Huge congratulations to Jen, Kara, Ryan Smith and their team!  This is amazing recognition and a huge honor that is well deserved.  I know that Ryan Hidinger is just beaming right now!!
Hope you can make it down there or back again soon.
Lots of positive exposure for SH and for the mission of The Giving Kitchen which by the way has now granted well over $700k to over 400 grant recipients.
This would not have been possible without many of you in receipt of this email.
Enjoy your day and thank you for your support and loyalty to M&T.
Ryan
