FAq’s

WHY ALL THE 3’s ON THE MENU?

It represents the three legged stool that holds the seat of our cherished customers.
1. Serve only the Highest Quality Products that we can find or make ourselves.
2. Maintain a Clean and Comfortable atmosphere.
3. Exhibit Gracious Hospitality that Exceeds Expectations.
Please let us know if one of the “legs” is ever broken.

DO YOU ALLOW PEOPLE TO BRING IN THEIR OWN WINE?

Here’s the deal, if you have a great cellar or special wine you want to enjoy with our food, we encourage you to bring in wine. If you are just trying to save money, that’s really not very cool as it’s not in the spirit of what we are trying to do and how we make a living. Corkage is $10 per bottle and that amount goes directly to your server who polishes the stemware, cleans the decanters and opens your wine. We kindly ask you bring in no more than three (3) bottles per table. We reserve the right to either waive corkage or charge more if we feel so moved. If you’re looking to enjoy a special bottle with friends or drink something from your cellar that isn’t on our list, you’ll be fine. Please, no bottles of liquor will be allowed. If you have questions, you can always call or email us for specific instances.

WHAT KIND OF FOOD DO WE SERVE?

In a word, delicious! We don’t really like labels or rules so we try not fit into any one “box.” We search for the best ingredients we can find, keep it local whenever we can and cook them simply to maximize their flavor. We take great pride in our relationships with our farmer friends and vendors and consider them to be partners in what we do. Like it says on the menu, “you can’t argue with delicious…” but if you need a reference point, let’s call our food contemporary American. That leaves us plenty of room to cook whatever we feel like…

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

We generally find it helps if you wear clothes. After that, it’s really up to you. We encourage you to be comfortable and have fun, so dress that way. If you’re coming from the office in a suit, we’re cool with that; we are sure you’ll look great. If you’ve been running around with the kids all day, wearing jeans and a t-shirt, that works equally well for us. Come as you are and have fun…

CAN WE BRING IN A BIRTHDAY CAKE?

You certainly may, but we reserve the right to charge a $2 per person cake cutting fee if we deem it appropriate. If you’d like to drop off your cake before dinner, we can certainly accommodate you. If you’d like to drop flowers off for your table, we’d be glad to make sure they are ready and waiting for you at your table when you arrive. If you have other special plans for a birthday, anniversary, engagement, or any occasion, give us a call and we’d be more than happy to help out. Disclaimer: NO glitter or confetti. EVER. No exceptions. It’s just too hard to clean up.

DO YOU HAVE TV’S?

No, we don’t and we don’t plan to. We want you to socialize, eat and drink with friends, old and new. TV’s are not the vehicle for human connection and thus we don’t have them. We love them and watch plenty of TV, just not at the restaurant…

IS THE PATIO HEATED AND COVERED?

The patio at Muss & Turner’s is covered and weather resistant, with fans and heaters, making it perfect for year-round use.

DO YOU ACCOMMODATE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

Absolutely. We will always do our best to make sure you leave happy and not hungry. We generally can accommodate almost every dietary need and do so frequently. From gluten free to vegan, we have you covered. If you have an allergy, please let your server know, as not all ingredients for each dish are listed on the menu. If you have a concern, please feel free to call us and we will make sure you are taken care of.

ARE YOU A KID FRIENDLY RESTAURANT?

Not only do we allow them, but we encourage them. We are a kid friendly restaurant with a great kids menu and will do our best to make sure they have a great time. Feeding kids good food is an investment in our future. (We’ve heard we have the best chocolate chip cookies, too.)

What’s the deal with parking?

Parking can be tight depending on the day and time. Fear not! We offer complimentary valet Friday and Saturday from 8 am to 11 pm and Sunday from 8 am to 4 pm. Your car will be parked in our parking lot (not off-site). You are also welcome to self-park anywhere in the Ivy Walk lot. If you can’t find parking by MTH, there are likely spots to the far left. It will involve a small stroll to and fro, but that can be a good thing as you may be tempted to overindulge a bit on our food and drink!
