Valet on Weekends- Yes or No?
Back on May 5th, complementary and optional valet service was started on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday brunch. The purpose of this was to address what appears to be an untenable situation with parking during the peak hours on these particular days. The feedback we’ve received the last seven weeks is indicating our solution is causing more harm than good. What say you? survey
Go Back To Deli By Day/ Bistro at Night?
Our lunch guest counts are down relative to 2019, the last “normal year” of record.
We have a theory that beyond necessary price increases the primary reason is that M&T as a full service dining experience for lunch is not as convenient and costs more with full service gratuities. From your POV would you prefer we go back to the pre COVID lunch counter service model? survey
No idea of what I am talking about?
During the early COVID era we opened our dining room back up in June of 2020. For a variety of functionality and safety reasons, we chose to offer only one combined menu and full table service throughout the restaurant. It worked and everyone seemed fine going along with it, especially as folks were getting back out into a “normal” way of life.
For the fifteen years prior to the pandemic, our lunch service model was different.
M&T Pre – COVID Lunch Model

walk in, grab a lunch menu (soup, sandwiches and salads)

place your order with a deli guide

grab a drink or fresh pastry

pay, get your utensils and take a name card to your table

we bring the food to you when ready

eat and enjoy

leave when ready
We would still offer full table service dining in Eleanor’s and Grog Shop for those who prefer it.
THIS IS FOR LUNCH ONLY. Dinner will remain full table service throughout the restaurant .
