Dear Ambassadors,
The last Friday the 13th we experienced I vividly recall having an all staff meeting amidst tremendous uncertainty and fear telling them we knew adversity was knocking on the door but we had no idea to what extent. UNDERSTATEMENT OF MY LIFETIME! 244 days later, uncertainty has become our roommate, not helping to pay the rent and continues to leave the door open to more adversity. But, we have been able to maintain a positive and optimistic mindset that has been and continues to be fueled by your incredible support of our restaurants during the pandemic. We already felt fortunate and grateful for you pre-pandemic, but it has expanded to levels off the charts. Your support and encouragement does not fall short with any of our team members.
As we enter a holiday season with the Masters in the background (really?) I was hoping to interrupt you to share some ideas for you to consider on how we can assist with what I imagine will be the most surreal holiday season of our lives.

Thanksgiving
We are smoking Bell & Evans whole turkeys as well as hams and offering apps, sides and desserts a la carte. We also have a family feast that can serve 12-18.
Gift Thanksgiving to Someone in Need or Deserves a Break
The other day we had a guest step up and purchase 20 Thanksgiving Feasts to be given away to families in need. So generous, right? He said, “that it is not about me but about helping others.” 2020 has certainly presented many opportunities to help others. His hope is that his act will be contagious. I thought I’d share this because some of you may be in a position and willing to do something like this. You could give it to a Giving Kitchen client or maybe as a gift for your child’s or grandchild’s teacher or for local first responders. If interested in doing something like this, please contact Holly Otto holly@unsukay.com

Bread for The Head
Thanks to fellow Ambassador Adam Herndon for sharing this insightful and helpful article just post by McKinsey & Co.
“When will the COVID-19 pandemic end”? Normalcy by spring, and herd immunity by fall? We assess the prospects for an end in 2021.
Have a wonderful weekend!
With gratitude,
